To assist our transition from slides to digital projection there are some key points that we all need to follow.
Naming your files
Please use this format.
Your Name underscore picture title underscore class(1 = Primary & Intermediate 2= Advanced)underscore Comp No. (1,2,3 etc) Year and A B or C So for the February Competition our first it will be

Please note that we will now be projecting only 2 classes, those who were in the old Primary or Intermediate class please replace the P or I in the file name with a 1 i.e from
Fred Bloggs_ Forest trees_P111A.jpg
to
Fred Bloggs_ Forest trees_1111A.jpg
(where 1st 1= class, 2nd 1 = comp, number 11 = year, A = image classification)
For those in the old Advanced class please
replace the A with a 2 i.e from
Freda Bloggs_Forest view_A111A.jpg
to
Freda Bloggs_Forest view_2111A.jpg
Image Size, Type, Colour Profile
Image size for landscape must be no more than 1400 wide x 1050 high
Image size for portrait must be no more than 1050 high x 1400 wide
It is preferable that the images are in jpeg format, colour space should be
set to sRGB…
If the sizing is greater than these figures
the image will be incorrectly projected and it may affect the judges decision.

Submission of Entries
Emailing is the preferred route, please use our competition email address

We will always acknowledge receipt of your images if you do not receive within 48 hours (for images submitted from 14 days prior to the event) then please assume we have not got them and resend.
If you need to submit images earlier than 14 days, i.e. holidays etc then please let me know. If you do not have email then you can save to disk but this must be given to me at the meeting prior to the competition ( i.e 14 days in advance).
Closing dates for entries
It is imperative that we have all images one week before the competitions therefore listed below are the cut off dates any images received after this time will not be entered.
1st Competition (1) cut off date 26th January 2011
2nd Competition (2) cut off date 30th March 2011
3rd Competition (3) cut off date 25th May 2011
4th Competition (4) cut off date 31st August 2011
