Panels of prints from clubs in the Southern Photographic Federation including
BCG’s Highly Commended panel of six prints and Greg Holmes’ Highly Commended
print “Harvest Mouse”.
18th SPF Projected Digital Image League Competition

This evening, BCG is hosting our round of Division 4’s PDI league.
The other competing clubs are Alton CC, Bognor CC, Guernsey PC,
Horndean CC, Salisbury CC and Winchester PS.

15th Mentor Night
This evening, several of our more advanced members will be demonstrating various
techniques and giving advice on different aspects of taking, producing and

This evening BCG is hosting our round of Division 4’s print league.

Sun SPF Print and PDI Championships 2012
Littleton Millennium Hall, nr. Winchester
Clubs in the Southern Federation will compete against each other with a selection
of 20 prints and PDI’s today. A chance to see some great images. See Sue for

Thurs Newbury Challenge Plate
Judge: TBA
Nine camera clubs compete in this annual competition with 6 prints each.
A great venue at Shawford Social Club and a wonderful buffet supplied by Newbury
Camera Club. See Sue for details.

Andrew has not judged at BCG before, so we look forward to hearing his views
on our digital images.

18th “Techniques in Photography”

Martin has visited us several times before as a judge, but this evening we
are pleased to welcome him back to inspire us with his photographic techniques.
Martin specialises in natural history and landscapes.
25th Fordingbridge Digital Challenge

Venue: Fordingbridge Hall
Ten clubs are taking part in this, the fourth year of this competition with
each club submitting ten PDI’s.
MAY

Keven is a member of Southampton Camera Club and it is a pleasure to welcome
him to Beaulieu again.
13th SPF League Final Day - Copythorne Hall
Sun
The top scoring print and PDI from each club in this year’s leagues will be
competing for best images and highly commended in each section. A chance to
see the best work of the year.
16th “The Joy of Photographing People”
Barry Day ARPS APAGB
This evening Barry, whose main interest is photographing “Faces and Places”
will be showing us a selection of his prints.
JUNE
6th 3rd Digital Competition

Barbara is a member of Gosport Camera Club and is a regular judge at Beaulieu.
20th Evening Photo Session
A “hands-on” evening with full details to be advised nearer the time.
JULY
4th 4th Print Competition
Judge: Ann Mahany ARPS AFIAP
We welcome Ann, a very experienced judge and award winning photographer, who
is a member of Fordingbridge Camera Club this evening.
21st Beaulieu Village Fete
Our Camera Group will again be showing a selection of members’ prints at the
annual village fete.
This is a very important date in Beaulieu’s calendar, so do please come along
and enjoy the event.
AUGUST
18th BCG Annual Exhibition
and This will be our 15th Annual Exhibition and will be a showcase of prints
representing
19th all members of the Group.
Last year we had over 100 prints on display and the exhibition attracted a
record 646 visitors. It is always a very social occasion with most of our
members coming along during the weekend.
Jane Irvine is the co-ordinator again this year assisted by Neil Hardy.
SEPTEMBER
5th 4th Digital Competition
Judge: Matthew White
Matthew is a member of Winchester Photographic Society. This is the first
time he has judged at Beaulieu and we look forward to hearing his comments
on our images.
19th “How Did You Do That?”
Dr.Barry Senior Hon FRPS APAGB
Barry is a past President of the Royal Photographic Society and will be showing
us how he created some of his images this evening.
OCTOBER
3rd Set Subject Competition - PDI “People”
Judge: Jon Mitchell
Jon is a member of Gosport Camera Club and a regular judge at Beaulieu. We
look forward to his critique this evening.
17th “Iceland - Land of Fire and Water”
Keven Sandall
We welcome Keven back to Beaulieu this evening to show us his stunning images
of Iceland.
NOVEMBER
7th Digital Image of the Year Competition
Judge: Francis Ouvry LRPS
Francis is a member of Petersfield Photographic Society. This evening we will
see all the digital images that have been awarded a seal during the year and
Francis will be asked to select a winner and runner-up from each Group.
21st Audio Visual and In-House Discussion
After the very successful evening last year, we look forward to another evening
of members’ audio visual shows using various forms of software.
There will also be an informal discussion with topics raised on the night.
DECEMBER
5th Print of the Year Competition
Judge: Roger Smith ABIPP
Roger is visiting us from Gosport and this evening he will have the difficult
task of choosing a winner and runner-up in each Group from the images that
have been awarded seals during the year.
19th AGM and Christmas Party
The Annual General Meeting will be followed by our usual American style buffet
and a change to mingle with other members.
