TIME LAPSE SOFT WARE

http://monkeyjam.en.softonic.com

Take lots of photos (1045 in total) at interval to suit subject, I used 5 second intervals, faster moving subjects require faster shutters, import into Monkey Jam,
Export to video file, Options depend on machine. If you end up with several video clips I joined and added sound via Windows movie maker. This will offer several options, best to play until you find the optimum quality / size.

The software says it can handle over 1000 images at once, I found around
300 was the limit on my machine. The solution is to process in batches
and join the resultant clips later.

David Forder couldn't be at the meeting on Wednesday, but has offered this information

www.photobox.co.uk for value for money. Their product is not printed on photographic paper but by a half-tone process (I think that’s the right description) and if one examines the images with a magnifying glass one can see the dots.

For quality I recommend http://www.cewe-photoworld.co.uk/ , they are a German company and their books printed on photo paper are very good. The software for layout is more flexible than that of Photobox. The latter uses a Flash application running in a browser whereas the former uses an installed application (there is even a version for Apple Mac J ) They are, however, more expensive. There was a review of photobooks in AP I think just over a year ago and Cewe came out top, that was how I found them.

For canvas prints I have used http://www.intelligence-direct.com/ , while not the cheapest their quality and delivery is excellent. They also are almost completely flexible in the size the only such supplier I have managed to find.
